How it works

Old School RuneScape uses one experience table for every skill: reaching level 2 needs 83 XP, level 50 needs 101,333, level 92 is 6,517,253 — the halfway point to 99 — and level 99 needs 13,034,431. The gaps grow fast, which is why the last few levels take as long as the first ninety.

This calculator uses that official table to tell you exactly how much XP lies between any two levels, or how much you have left to a target if you enter your current XP. It works for any skill, so you can plan a grind, compare 'XP to 99' across skills, or see how close you are.

Everything runs in your browser.

Examples

Level 1 → 99 = 13,034,431 XP. Level 92 → 99 = about 6.5M — half the total.

Frequently asked questions

How much XP is level 99 in OSRS?
13,034,431 experience — the same for every skill. Level 92 is 6,517,253, almost exactly half, which is why people say 92 is 'halfway to 99'.
How does the XP calculator work?
It uses the official OSRS experience formula to find the total XP at each level, then subtracts to give the gap — or subtracts your current XP for the amount remaining.
Is the XP table the same for all skills?
Yes. Every skill uses the same experience table from level 1 to 99, so this works for any of them.
Why do high levels take so long?
The XP required roughly grows by about 10% per level, so each level needs far more than the last. Levels 92–99 alone are about half the total XP to 99.
What about 200M XP?
200 million is the experience cap (well past level 99). This tool focuses on levelling to 99; the cap isn't shown.
