ToolFeather is built to respect your privacy completely. This page explains, in plain English, exactly what we do and do not do with your data.

No data collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store the information you enter into our tools. Everything — the numbers in a calculator, the text in a formatter, the images in an image tool — is processed entirely within your own web browser on your own device. There is no server that receives your input, because the tools do not send it anywhere.

No accounts and no login

You never need to create an account or sign in. We do not know who you are, and we do not want to.

No tracking and no analytics

We do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We do not build profiles of visitors.

Cookies

We set no tracking cookies. The only thing we store locally is an optional theme preference (light or dark mode), kept in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers your choice. It never leaves your device and you can clear it any time.

Files and images

Tools that accept a file — such as the image compressor, resizer, format converter, favicon generator, and file hasher — read that file locally in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Third-party resources

Pages currently load the Tailwind CSS framework from a public CDN for styling. This is a styling resource only and receives no data you enter into the tools.

Advertising (future)

We may add advertising in the future to support the site. If and when we do, we will update this policy, state it clearly, and link to the ad provider's own privacy policy so you can understand their practices. We will not introduce trackers that follow you across the web.
