Round & sprint tracking

See which round you're on and how many focus sprints you've completed, so you can measure a productive session.

Soft chime + tab countdown

A gentle chime marks each switch, and the browser tab shows the time left so you can work in another window and still keep track.

Private and remembered

Runs entirely in your browser with no signup; your interval settings are saved on your device and nothing is uploaded.

How it works — in four simple steps

No signup, nothing to install — it all runs in your browser.

Step 01

Set your intervals

Keep the classic 25/5/15, or set your own focus, break and long-break lengths and rounds before a long break.

Step 02

Press Start

The focus countdown begins. Work until the chime; the timer switches to a break automatically.

Step 03

Take your breaks

Step away during each break — the timer handles the switch back to focus and counts your rounds.

Step 04

Reset or skip anytime

Use Skip to jump to the next phase, or Reset to start a fresh session.

How it works

The Pomodoro Technique is a simple, proven way to stay focused: you work in a timed sprint — traditionally 25 minutes, called one "pomodoro" — then take a short 5-minute break. After four sprints you take a longer break of 15–30 minutes. The countdown creates gentle urgency, and the regular breaks keep you fresh and prevent burnout.

This timer runs the whole cycle for you. Press start and it counts down your focus sprint, chimes softly, and automatically switches to a break; after your chosen number of rounds it gives you a long break, then starts over. It tracks the current round and how many sprints you've completed, and the browser tab shows the time remaining so you can glance at it from another window.

You can change the focus, break and long-break lengths and how many rounds come before a long break — your settings are remembered on this device. Everything runs in your browser with no signup and no uploads, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded.

Examples

Classic setup: 25 focus · 5 short · 15 long · long break every 4 rounds.
Deep-work variant: 50 focus · 10 short for longer, fewer sprints.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Pomodoro Technique?
It's a time-management method where you work in focused 25-minute sprints separated by short breaks, with a longer break after four sprints. The timed structure improves focus and helps prevent burnout.
Can I change the 25-minute length?
Yes. You can set any focus length, short and long break, and the number of rounds before a long break — for example 50/10 for deep work, or 15/3 for quick tasks.
Will it chime when a timer ends?
Yes — a soft chime plays at each switch (you can turn it off). The browser tab also shows the remaining time, so you'll notice even in another window.
Does it work offline and stay private?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser, your settings are saved on your device, and nothing is ever uploaded. Once the page has loaded it keeps working with no connection.
Are my settings saved?
Your interval settings and chime preference are remembered on this device using local storage, so they're ready next time. They never leave your browser.
