SVG to BMP Converter
Rasterise SVG logos and icons into BMP at exactly the size you need — 1× to 8× scale, a background colour for transparent areas, and 1-bit output for laser, plotter and embroidery software.

- SVGText (XML) — vector, resolution-independent · Vector — rendered at any size · alpha: Yes (vector opacity)
- BMPUsually none (RLE4/RLE8 optional) · 1, 4, 8, 16, 24 or 32 bits per pixel · alpha: Only 32-bit with V4/V5 headers; support varies

About the SVG to BMP Converter
Vector SVGs are ideal for design, but many machine-control programs (laser cutters, vinyl plotters, embroidery and engraving software), Windows resource editors and microcontroller display libraries need a plain bitmap. Converting at the right scale avoids blurry upscaling later.
The SVG is rendered by your browser at the scale you choose (SVGs without a width and height are drawn at 1024 px), so the result is as sharp as the vector allows.
The BMP is written by our own encoder: a BITMAPINFOHEADER file for 24-, 8- and 1-bit output (bottom-up rows padded to 4 bytes, as Windows expects) and a BITMAPV4HEADER with BI_BITFIELDS channel masks and an sRGB colour space for 32-bit with alpha. 8-bit files get an exact palette when the image has 256 colours or fewer, otherwise a median-cut palette with optional Floyd–Steinberg dithering; 1-bit uses a luminance threshold or dithering.

Things to know
- Fonts must be available. Text in an SVG that references a font you don't have installed is drawn with a fallback. Convert text to outlines in your editor first if the font matters.
- External images may be blocked. For security, browsers don't load external images referenced inside an SVG when it's drawn to a canvas — embed them as data URIs.
