How it works
Upside-down text is a fun typographic trick. Rather than actually rotating anything, it swaps each letter for a different unicode character that happens to look like the original flipped over — for example, e becomes ǝ and a becomes ɐ — and then reverses the whole string so it reads correctly when turned 180 degrees.
Because the result is made of ordinary text characters, you can copy and paste it anywhere that accepts unicode: social media bios, usernames, chat messages and comments. Letters, numbers and common punctuation are all mapped; any character without a flipped equivalent is left as-is.
The transformation happens entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded.
